Job Summary: The Esthetician is responsible for performing a variety of facial and body treatments designed to increase, improve, or maintain the health and appearance of the skin. The successful candidate will be committed to providing the highest quality of service. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Advise members and suggest treatments related to their individual needs Schedule spa services Provide high-quality facial treatments that address skincare concerns Remove hair by exfoliation or waxing Perform makeup applications for special events Preform face and body masks, wraps, sugar and salt scrubs Educate members on spa therapies and services Maintain confidential member reports and notes Maintains an up to date working knowledge of all club amenities as well as any special events. Maximizes revenue and cash flow by promoting Spa programs, packages, and upgrades when appropriate. Requirements and Qualifications: Hold current Michigan license to practice as an Esthetician. 2+ years spa experience. Repechage product line knowledge is preferable but not required. Proficient in performing all applicable treatments. Ability to stand, bend, sit for extended periods and to lift 50 pounds. Adhere to all current regulations and laws related to an Esthetician. Must handle sensitive client information with confidentiality.
