Job description Aesthetician Position We are seeking well rounded candidates, interested in a healthy work-life balance who are active in the community and interested in pursuing a career in aesthetics within a growing dermatology practice. A built-in referral network is provided by our seven medical providers at Signature Dermatology Our current patient base is made up of over 70,000 patients who could become potential clients Equipment for microdermabrasion, facials, waxing, tinting, etc. provided. Professional work qualities desired include, but are not limited to: Excellent patient care Strong communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated individual willing to help others Time management and excellent attendance Daily Tasks Associated with this Position: Perform skin care services for patients including: microdermabrasion, dermaplane, facials, chemical peels, waxing, tinting services, etc. Opportunity to add new and exciting services which fit your menu and your aesthetic practice We encourage research, setting up meetings and presenting new ideas for services which can complement existing offerings at Signature Dermatology Perform skin care consultations and discuss product recommendations for patients. Obtain a strong knowledge of our current cosmeceutical lines and educate patients and staff on benefits of products. Research and introduce new cosmeceuticals to complement existing product lines or services. Manage inventory and ordering of cosmeceuticals and supplies used in aesthetic services. Keep good communication with representatives from cosmeceutical companies in regards to upcoming specials or promotions. Responsible for marketing campaigns and specials for aesthetic services. Suggest sales and in-office promotions, complementary services and upsell cosmeceutical products. Possibility of in-office event hosting.
