Position Description TITLE: Educator FLSA Status: Exempt DEPARTMENT: Education ***********************************************************************************************************************Reports To: Education Team Lead Primary Objective: This position is responsible for delivering an exceptional educational experience forStudents. Responsibilities Grow Aveda Institute as a profitable business through coaching and support of Education Team, while maintaining the philosophical standards as established by AVEDA Corporation Cultivate an environment where employees respect and adhere to company core values of quality, integrity, and ownership thinking by integrating these values into all programs and practices, developing consequences for violations or non-compliance, and supporting an Open Door Policy Identify and recruit top talent Provide on-going recognition, support, and inspiration for students Instill AVEDA mission, vision and beliefs Coordinate, facilitate and present exceptional classroom and clinic floor experiences Use Inspired Coaching techniques Resolve conflict in an effective, confidential and professional manner Review student progress, coaching one on one, mid-phase, end of phase, SAP o Including classroom and clinic floor observations Make sure Students comply with institute set policy and procedures Significant internal and external customer interaction including students, team, studentxe2x80x99s family members, guests and salon network Coach LOAs and Drops May perform other tasks as required or assigned Travels domestically regularly requiring an overnight stay or consecutive overnight stays Supervisory Responsibilities Direct reports include Education Team Members Direction Given Educators and Students Direction Received Campus Director, Director of Education Support Institute Team Leads, Director of Education Minimum Requirements 1-2 years experience in the beauty industry State licensure Excellent communication and organization skills Committed to providing outstanding customer service Computer literate, business writing and communication skills Experience with compliance and file maintenance Ability to multi-task with a smile Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail Desire to network Passion for the beauty industry The Position Rituals below are intended to describe the general tasks being performed by people assigned to this job.
