Experienced Medical Aesthetician Our dermatology private practice located in the heart of Arlington, VA is expanding! We are seeking an experienced medical aesthetician with passion for aesthetics and dermatology to join our team. The MA should be passionate about healthy skin and excited to pamper clients. We are seeking someone who embraces xe2x80x9cgoing the extra milexe2x80x9d to create an exceptional experience for each patient. The successful candidate will have experience in providing exceptional client/patient service, be a positive team player, exhibit compassion and confidence, and have the knowledge of aesthetic industry standards and trends. Brand new facility decorated with real art and populated with state of the art equipment Derm specific electronic medical record system and practice management system Established friendly patient base xe2x80x93 following doctors from prior practice Experienced supporting staff Great location xe2x80x93 10 min drive from center of Washington DC, 12 min drive from Georgetown, 15 min drive from DCA airport; located within 5 minute walk of 2 Metro stations Situated within walking distance from numerous restaurants and bars, 3 gyms, a mall, several corporate offices, and residential centers Responsibilities: Perform a wide variety of skin care and non-surgical treatments including facials, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, chemical peels, and massage that require physician supervised on-site training Provide skincare consultations for prospective clients and current dermatology patients Collaborate with physicians and practice manager to develop marketing efforts Grow clientele through proactive marketing efforts with current patient flow Optimize medical assistant and admin skills by rooming patients, medical scribing, answering phones, checking in patients, collecting insurance information, checking out patients, processing payments and scheduling patient appointments Position Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience as a medical assistant At least 1 year experience performing advanced facial and upper body massage techniques At least 1-2 years experience performing medical grade facials with extractions, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning Self-starter interested in carving out new services to a growing practice in a flourishing market Must be passionate, professional and willing to proactively promote our brand Must have outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills Must be confident and knowledgeable when recommending products Experience with managing social media a plus Present utmost professionalism with integrity and a strong ethical backbone Benefits: Employee discounts on cosmetic procedures and skincare products Schedule: Monday to Friday Fulltime or can consider Part-Time Future Saturday availability may be available COMPENSATION BASED ON EXPERIENCE Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Supplemental pay types: Bonus opportunities Work Location: In person
