Job DescriptionBeauty by Satik is looking for a part-time licensed esthetician or cosmetologist who will be performing facials, full body waxing (especially Brazilian waxing), eyelash lifting & tinting, eyebrow shaping, eyebrow tinting, eyebrow lamination. We are looking for someone with experience or we will train the right candidate! Growth is guaranteed, we don’t believe in being too sales focused on clients, rather we want to help everyone understand skincare and enhance their natural beauty. We teach and educate clients on how to improve their skin, product recommendation and knowledge is important. You will receive $17.50-$20xc2xa0an hour based on your skill, experience, and knowledge level. 5% product commission on all products. 100% cash/Venmo tip, tips paid on card will be taxed & paid on your bi-weekly paycheck. Your work will be re-evaluated yearly to offer gradual pay increases.xc2xa0Job Duties:Provide facials/skincare, body waxing, and other beauty treatments such as (but not limited to) eyebrow shaping, lash lifting/tinting, eyebrow lamination/tint.Adhere to appointments in a timely manner by monitoring scheduleEvaluating a customerxe2x80x99s skin condition and concerns: offer recommendations for treatments taking into account skincare conditions.xc2xa0Welcome clients in a warm, friendly mannerAccompany clients to and from treatment roomsSales: Recommendxc2xa0skin care products to customersReview consent form and question clients to obtain information about contraindicationsMaintain up to date product knowledge to promote and sell necessary spa products and servicesxc2xa0Adhere to Board of Barbering and Cosmetology policies pertaining to chemical usage, cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance of equipment.xc2xa0Proper linen storage. Replace linen between sessions and place it in the xe2x80x9cDirty Laundryxe2x80x9d basket.Duties such as: laundry, cleaning, sanitation will be given to maintain proper room set up and cleanliness.xc2xa0Required18 years or olderServices license: Esthetician License ORxc2xa0Cosmetology LicenseLegally authorized to work in the United States1+ year of experience in an esthetician positionxc2xa02+ year of experience in the customer service industryxc2xa0Preferred2-3 years of general work experienceAble to stand/sit forxc2xa0 long duration of shiftxc2xa0Days/Hours Needed:xc2xa0You can pick any two days to start: Thursday, Friday, or Saturdayxc2xa05-6 hours per day.xc2xa0This position isxc2xa0currently only for part-time, 2 days a week.
