Come join us today — your career awaits you!Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide a clean, safe, and healthy environment for members, guests, and co-workersEvery staff member, regardless of position, has a primary and urgent responsibility to clean and disinfect all club components as they are used by members and guests and yourself. Help retain and attain new members through club promotion and customer service excellenceEstablish rapport and trust with members and clientsAdminister professional and effective facials, depilatory servicesAssess client skin to determine best course of treatmentCreate therapeutic treatment plans for clientsPlay an active role in client and member retentionEffectively and professionally follow-up with clientsComplete, file, and maintain accurate and effective SOAP notesMake appropriate retail and at-home care suggestionsMeet and exceed individual goalsSpend time when not scheduled with clients on the fitness floor building rapport with members and staff clients Maintain a clean and safe work environmentAttend all team & club meetings and training sessionsWilling to expand knowledge base through continuing educationAssists in training and mentoring new spa therapists, when necessary, in spa orientation, prospecting efforts, etc.Additional duties as assigned include but are not limited to: tending to amenity replenishment, assisting in light spa housekeeping, covering spa reception desk, assisting with turnover of treatment rooms when necessary, folding of spa laundry, etcQualifications:Valid State of Illinois license in Esthetics Passion for skin careWilling to follow proper protocols with skin care linesHigh-level verbal and written communication abilityExcellence in performing facials, waxing, and peels. Preferred esthetician candidates are skilled in Brazilian waxingMinimum of six (6) months previous experience as an esthetician and/or 2 years of experience in a customer service related field.Works 3+ shifts per week, as directed by Spa Manager, Regional Spa Director, and/or General ManagerComfortable interacting with prospective club membersAvailable to work evenings / day / weekend shifts as per business demand.Available for flexible scheduling where necessary to cover business demandAvailable to work holiday hours.Physical requirements include: walking and standing during the entire shift (often 4-8 hours), climbing stairs, kneeling to clean floors, pushing, and pulling objects, lifting and moving objects (up to 50 lbs.), and cleaning with or without reasonable accommodationWhat We Offer:Insurance – Medical (only for Full time employees), Dental and Vision insurance through UnitedHealthcareCompany-paid Life Insurance (only for Full time employees)401K – with company matchProfessional Development Reimbursement – FFC will match 50% of the cost for an activity up to a maximum reimbursement amount of $200 allowed during the calendar year.
