Hotel Bardo Savannah | Your Ultimate Stay Experience ( Overview: We are seeking a Spa Director to oversee Saltgrass Spa at Hotel Bardo Savannah. The Spa Director will lead our spa services, operations, and guest experiences. This individual is a xe2x80x9cculture setterxe2x80x9d who embodies the Bardo brand and sets the standard for impeccable and anticipatory service. This well-versed spa and wellness practitioner is dedicated to a seamless delivery of rituals and brand values, a continued expansion of their expertise and helping guests and members exceed their expectations in spa and wellness. This position is based in Savannah, Georgia. Responsibilities: Lead spa and wellness offerings for the resort, overseeing flawless execution for all spa programming and experiences and ensuring adherence to the brand standards Own spa retail sales and ensure team members are meeting sales goals Work in coordination with the Fitness Director to create a holistic wellness experience, ensuring brand standards are met and well-maintained Engage with resort guests and club members to book spa experiences (personal, group, special events, training/education, collaborative classes, etc.) Identify and manage spa-related partners to support programming (sound healing, meditation, special programs) Partner with Membership Director, Club Bardo to ensure club members are engaged in Saltgrass offerings Understand operational and financial implications of spa programming, equipment and manage relevant budgets Assist fellow leaders with training new team members on the Bardo brand and how it impacts their respective role (licensed massage therapists, licensed aestheticians, etc.) Maintain confidentiality and safety at the utmost level of integrity as it relates to financial, client information, health assessments and HIPAA compliance needs Uphold all service, safety and legality standards per direction Manage multiple service providers and facilitate all coordination of tools and training to ensure all team members are well-guided to maximize consistency in the brand experience Commit to continuing education for skincare, massage therapy, equipment & technique training Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate special events and programs Qualifications: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a hospitality spa and wellness-related role that lends itself to creating rare & memorable experiences in restoration Relevant and up-to-date certifications (if a working manager i.e. LMT, aesthetician) Genuine passion for spa & wellness and for delivering thoughtful, positive and attentive service A clear understanding of hospitality spa & wellness culture, including product knowledge, equipment and technology, analytics, financial and performance reporting, marketing collaboration & customer service Proficient in the English language in reading, writing, and verbal communication Engaging interpersonal skills to represent Hotel Bardo Savannah to guests, members and partners Confident, collaborative and with a point of view Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive, calm and impeccably hospitable demeanor while managing guests, team members & service providers Comfortable identifying strategic needs but also an executor ensuring the implementation of a strategic plan
